  • Lesley University to Add Women’s Golf, Relaunch Men’s Volleyball Beginning in 2027-28

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Lesley University Director of Athletics Dan Campagna announced today the addition of Women’s Golf and the relaunch of Men’s Volleyball as NCAA varsity intercollegiate programs beginning competition with the 2027-28 academic year.

    The Lynx finished up their spring play at the RIC Spring Invitational. Despite only playing one other tournament since October, Marc Bota Carbonell tied his personal best round and finished second overall. The Lynx as a team finished 8th.

    The Lesley University men's golf program hosted the inaugural Lynx Invitational. The winter showed to make the Lynx a little rusty, but once they warmed up, they kept stride with the competition. However, the damage was already done as they ultimately fell off the podium.
  • 42 Lesley Student-Athletes Placed on Fall NAC All-Academic Team

    Lesley University placed 42 student-athletes on the 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Fall All-Academic Team, announced by the conference on Wednesday. To be eligible for the NAC Fall NAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be participating members of their respective teams and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First year Vincent Spirito (Lynn, Mass.) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Men's Golf Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office on Monday, September 29. This marks the first time a Lesley golfer has earned NAC Rookie of the Week honors this season and the third time in program history as Jeremey Ouellette and Patrick Teasdale both earned a nod in 2024.
  • Men's Golf Ties Program Record at Brett Williamson Invitational

    WESTFIELD, Mass. - The Lesley University men’s golf program tied the program record with a team score of 316 Tuesday afternoon at the Brett Williams Invitational hosted by Westfield State University. The Lynx matched the record which they previously set earlier this season in their 2025 opener at the SUNY Delhi Invitational played at the Delhi Golf Course on August 30, 2025.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second time this fall, Lesley junior Marc Bota Carbonell (Mallorca, Spain) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Men's Golfer of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office for matches played between September 8 – 14. This marks the first time a Lesley golfer has earned NAC Golfer of the Week honors on multiple occasions during a single season.

    JAY, Vt. - Lesley junior Marc Bota Carbonell (Mallorca, Spain) earned medalist honors for the second straight tournament carding a 74 (+2) at the Lou Jarvis Invitational hosted by VTSU Johnson at Jay Peak Resort Golf Course.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Marc Bota Carbonell (Mallorca, Spain) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Men's Golfer of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office for matches played between August 29 – 31. This marks the first time a Lesley golfer has earned NAC Golfer of the Week honors since becoming a varsity program. The Lynx earned Rookie of the Week honors twice last year in their inaugural season (Jeremey Ouellette and Patrick Teasdale).

    COBLESKILL, N.Y. - Lesley junior Marc Bota Carbonell (Mallorca, Spain) earned medalist honors carding a 72 (+2) to set the LU single-round record and lead the Lynx to a fourth-place team showing on Sunday afternoon at the SUNY Cobleskill Invitational.
