CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First year Vincent Spirito (Lynn, Mass.) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Men's Golf Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office on Monday, September 29. This marks the first time a Lesley golfer has earned NAC Rookie of the Week honors this season and the third time in program history as Jeremey Ouellette and Patrick Teasdale both earned a nod in 2024.

In the Lynx only action of the week, Spirito was instrumental in helping Lesley match the program's record-low team score of 316 by carding a 78 at the 2025 Brett Williams Invitational played at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Mass. The rookie was the low-round for the Lynx, finishing seventh overall in the field while helping Lesley capture a second-place team finish in the event.

Through six matches, the Lynn, Mass. native is averaging an 81.5 score and has broken 80 on three occasions.

The Lynx return to tournament play on Thursday, October 2 for the EC Invite hosted by Emmanuel College at South Shore Country Club. Earlier this season, Spirito carded a 79 in match-play at SSCC, finishing tied for third at the Saints Invitational on September 10.
