THE LEAD – The Lesley University men's golf program made history in its 2025 season-opener shooting a program low 316 team score, besting the program's previous team low-total by 26 strokes.
LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Marc Bota Carbonell (Mallorca, Spain) led the way firing a new program record-low round of 73 (+1) including a 32 (-4) on the back-nine with five birdies to finish in a three-way tie for second, just one stroke behind the medalist.
- Sophomore Jeremy Ouellette (Old Saybrook, Conn.) carded a 77 to match his career-best from a year ago and made his turn with an eagle-three on the 484 yard par five ninth hole.
- First years Vincent Spirito (Lynn, Mass.) and Reuben Wasserman (Toronto, Ontario) enjoyed strong collegiate debuts shooting an 81 and 85, respectively, while fellow first year Adam Paradise (Portland, Maine) was just behind them with an 88 in his first collegiate match.
WINNING PERFORMANCE
- SUNY Delhi first year Johnathan Techhio carded an impressive even par 72 with four birdies on his card to help the host Broncos post a team score of 296, besting the field by eight strokes for the win
- All five Broncos carded rounds in the 70's on their home course.

- The Lynx spend the night in the Empire State and will take on the SUNY Cobleskill Fall Invitational tomorrow (Sun. Aug. 31) in Cobleskill, N.Y.
