THE LEAD — After their game earlier in the week versus Fisher College was cancelled, the Lynx headed up to New Hampshire to end their season on a high note. The Pilgrims came into the game looking to get one last win of the regular season after falling earlier in the week. The Pilgrims put up an impressive defensive performance and gained a big lead early. A strong third quarter from the Lynx gave them hope, but New England College ultimately put a stop to the comeback and won 90-34.
HOW IT HAPPENED

The pilgrims struck first, hitting a three in the opening minute, but Leila Chisholm responded with one of her own to tie it back up.
-
The Pilgrims then went on a 15-2 run that ate up most of the opening quarter.

-
The Lynx came out of the locker room determined to close the gap. They were on fire in the third, putting up 17 in the quarter, their highest of the game.
-
As the third quarter was winding down, both teams went shot-for-shot. The Lynx put up eight points within two minutes.
-
Their comeback would come to a screeching halt in the fourth as the Lynx only put together three points.
-
Despite their commanding lead, the Pilgrims refused to subside, scoring 24, a high for any quarter of the game.
-
The Pilgrims were victorious in the 90-34 match.
