THE LEAD — The Lynx looked to snap their losing streak against the wavering SUNY Delhi Broncos. Coming off a crushing loss in their previous game, the Broncos looked to rebound. A very tight first half gave the Lynx the most hope they've had during their current streak, but a strong third quarter was all the Broncos needed to put the Lynx away 53-41.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Broncos were the first to score, with Sarah Gaetano putting up back-to-back baskets.

  • A block by Madalynn Biagi and a three from Leila Chisholm kept the Lynx right in the game.

  • In the second, threes from both Biagi and Chisholm helped Lesley close the gap.

  • A layup from Chisholm gave the Lynx their first lead of the game with a little over three minutes before halftime.

  • A three from Delhi's Mya Aiken put the Broncos up by one as both teams headed to the locker room.

  • The Broncos brought the intensity coming out of the half, putting up 20, seven of which came from Alani Brock. Delhi's defense was also on display, only allowing the Lynx to score six.

  • Lesley was not deterred as they doubled their previous quarter's points in the fourth. However, the comeback came too late as the Broncos pulled out the win 53-41

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
