THE LEAD – Lesley University capped off the weekend with a 7-0 win over VTSU Johnson in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Tennis action at the Beren Tennis Center on Sunday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Match 1)

• Juniors Mary Osucha (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Lucy Boyce (Marshfield, Mass.) picked up a 6-1 win in the top doubles pairing while first year Emily Laperriere (Tewksbury, Mass.) and Michal Nuriyev (Sharon, Mass.) earned a 6-2 win in the No. 2 bracket.
• Osucha and first year Hayley Jones (Berthoud, Colo.) picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins in the No. 1 and No. 4 singles slots, respectively.
• Boyce registered a 6-0, 6-1 win in No. 2 singles while sophomore Anna Stamp (Belchertown, Mass.) recorded a 6-2, 6-0 win in No. 3 singles action.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• The Lynx finished off the weekend with a perfect 3-0 record including a pair of NAC victories.
• The doubles win for Laperriere and Nuriyev marked the first doubles win for both at the collegiate level.
• Osucha improves to 8-1 on the year in No. 1 singles action.
