Legendre Earns Second NAC Player of the Week Nod

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Jessica Legendre (Leesville, La.) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office in the Monday, September 22, 2025 conference report. This marks the fourth time in her Lesley career, and second time this season, being named the NAC Player of the Week.

Legendre improved to a combined 14-0 on the year with a 4-0 week for Lesley including a huge performance vs NAC Pre-season favorite Simmons University. The senior posted a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles vs. the Sharks after recording a 6-0 win in No. 2 doubles action to help the Lynx pick up a gutsy 6-1 victory over Simmons in NAC play. The captain followed up that performance with a pair of victories over the weekend vs. Salem State, cruising in singles (6-0, 6-1) and doubles (6-1) action to remain unbeaten on the year.

Over her career, Legendre has been sensational playing out of the top of the Lesley lineup. She currently boasts an overall career record of 85-12 including a 20-1 singles mark since the squad joined the NAC in 2023.

The Lynx return to the court on Saturday, September 27 for a doubleheader vs. NAC foe VTSU Lyndon.
