CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Jessica Legendre (Leesville, La.) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office in the Monday, September 8, 2025 conference report. This marks the third time in her Lesley career being named the NAC Player of the Week.
Legendre opened the season with a pair of solid outings posting a 4-0 overall record in singles and doubles play over two matches. In her 2025 opener versus UMass Dartmouth, Legendre cruised in No. 2 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win while also notching a 6-3 doubles win. This past weekend, the Louisiana native recorded a 6-1, 6-0 win in singles play and a 6-1 win in doubles against the University of New England. Despite her solid play, Lesley dropped a pair of tight 4-3 decisions to open the campaign.
Over her career, Legendre has been sensational playing out of the top of the Lesley lineup. She currently boasts an overall career record of 71-11 including a 22-1 doubles mark since the squad joined the NAC in 2023.
The Lynx return to the court on Thursday, September 11 for a 3:30 PM road match vs. Clark University.
