TROY, NY -- Lesley University sprinter Kat Vicino set a Lynx record with a time of 25.9 seconds in the 200-meter sprints at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Friday afternoon.

Vicino's personal and Lesley record was good for 18th place out of 38 runners qualifying from Division III programs throughout the East Coast.

The sophomore qualified for the ECAC Invitational on May 4 at the NCAA Division III New England Championships hosted by MIT. At NCAA's, she turned in a then-record time of 26.18, which she bested ony with today's time of 25.9 seconds.
