THE LEAD - After splitting their last doubleheader, the Lynx looked to improve upon that in a pair of duels against Thomas College. The Terriers had different plans. Their bats were unstoppable and led to two lopsided wins.

-
The Terriers wasted no time getting going. They rallied 11 runs in the first inning alone.

But that didn't deter the Lynx. Isabella Moscoso started the bottom of the 1st with a walk. Leah St. John doubled, and Shae Thomas walked to load the bases. Madison Herbert then drew a full count walk to score a run, and Lauren Martin singled to add another.
-
Thomas refused to let up; they put up another 11 runs in the second to make it 22-2.
-
The Lynx were able to hold them to two runs in the third but gave seven in the fourth.
-
They shut them out in the 5th, but the game ended 31-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 2)
-
