Title: Assistant Coach

Coach Hodin joined the Lesley Men's Basketball staff during the fall of 2025 as an Assistant Coach.

Hodin has been involved with the collegiate basketball scene since 2018 when be served as a player/president for the Bates College club program where he was responsible for scheduling games, officials and gym time while also coordinating travel and team expenses. He also took on a prime role with The Bates Student, the student-run newspaper, as the Sports Editor where he oversaw 10 writers and published a feature column called Hodin's Hoops Corner which specialized in Bates Basketball features on players, coaches and team statistical trends. He also served as a color commentator for the Bobcats men's and women's basketball programs during his junior and senior years at the college. 

After graduating from Bates with a BA in Sociology while minoring in Philosophy, Hodin has been active in the basketball world in a variety of roles including a role with the Chicago Bulls as a Basketball Communications Associate. After working in the NBA for a year, he has served as a the Lead Scout in the New England region under the Prep Network umbrella with Prep Hoops where his region (New England) became the third highest performing brand nationally, competing with over 35 other regions/brands.

A jack of all trades, Hodin also has enjoyed stints with Gold Standard Basketball Training as a Trainer & Film Expert as well as an AAU Head Coach for the Middlesex Magic. He also served as a personal basketball trainer under his own brand out of Newton, Mass. for over eight years and was the co-founder and lead writer of the Analytic City sports website geared towards fantasy sports trends in basketball and football.

Hodin first started coaching with the Take Charge AAU group and expanded to the High School level at Frankling High School.

In addition to his BA, Hodin also holds a Master of Science from Northwestern's Medill Scholl of Journalism with a specialization in Sports Media.
