CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First year forward/center Moses Semuhoza (Westbrook, Maine) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office on Monday, November 10.
Semuhoza enjoyed an efficient collegiate debut for Lesley University, leading the Lynx in points in just 18 minutes of action. The big fella finished the afternoon with 15 points on a 5-for-8 shooting performance from the field including 2-for-3 from behind the arc vs. Elms College. The Maine native added one rebound and one steal in the season-opener for LU.
The marks the first time this season the Lynx earned a NAC Rookie of the Week honor. Last season (24-25), Lesley earned four Rookie of the Week nods in total.
The Lynx return to action this evening when they head to Franklin, Mass. to take on Dean College in non-conference action at 7:00 PM.
