THE LEAD – The Lesley University men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Ed Daniels Invitational on Monday afternoon hosted by Southern New Hampshire. At Monday's meet, multiple personal bests were set by both men's and women's squads including a program record on the men's side.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Hezekiah Brown (Stafford, Va.) once again had a solid outing for the Lynx Monday setting both a program record and personal record. First in the 100m, Brown crossed the finish line in 11.38 seconds (22nd place) which marked a new program best and is also the second best in the conference. In the 400m, he earned a time of 55.42 seconds (23rd place) which is a new personal best for the Sophomore.
- Also competing in the 100m with Brown was Jelanie Morgan (Atlanta, Ga.) who notched a personal record at 12.52 seconds (51st place). Morgan also set a new personal best in the 200m at 25.26 seconds (48th place).
- Liam McNeil (Hudson, N.H.) was the other lone Lynx to take part in track events Monday and he set a new career best in the 1500m with a time of 6:35.06 (16th place).
- In field events, Morgan notched another personal record in shotput. The junior had a toss of 9.19m (30-02.00) which ended up being the second longest toss in program history. Not far behind Morgan was Osmin Castaneda (East Boston, Mass.) with yet another career best in shotput with a throw of 8.71m (28-07.00).
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Rebecca Hall (Richmond, Vt.) was the lone Lynx runner on the women's side and in the 5000m, she recorded a top-15 finish (12th) with a time of 22:12.35. Her time not only is a freshman record, but also a personal record for the first year runner.

- Lesley will be back in action this Saturday (April 19) when the squad takes part in the Tufts University Sunshine Classic.
